If you’ve never worked with a professional photographer before, chances are, you’re feeling pretty nervous about your upcoming senior session. What you might not know is that there is far less to worry about than you might think.
Your senior session is meant to be exciting and fun, so let’s unpack the things that you really don’t need to worry about in the days leading up to your shoot.
- Location. One thing that stresses a lot of seniors out is deciding on a location for their shoot. Yes, you want your photos to be everything you’ve envisioned, but you don’t need to try and find a location alone. I always send over a location guide to help give you ideas…and if those locations don’t align with your vision I am always happy to brainstorm on a location that brings your vision to life.
- How to pose. I am a professional, which means I am here to guide you. I want your senior photos to look good just as much as you do. You don’t need to turn into a professional model overnight – I will help you with poses and demonstrate them to you.
- Blemishes. We all deal with blemishes and they’re no fun but don’t worry if you wake up with one on the day of your shoot. In fact, worrying about blemishes will only increase the chances of them appearing on the day of your shoot. Not only can you cover any blemishes with makeup, but I will be lightly touching up your photos too.
Feeling a little less stressed? It’s time to get excited!
