4th of July

Happy 4th of July!!! I absolutely love this holiday…for multiple reasons. The importance of it in our country’s history. The freedom it celebrates. And I feel like it represents all things summer!

Personally, this year we will be celebrating with a pool party and cook out at home. Our neighbors always go all out with fireworks so we don’t even have to leave to see them lol.

But if you’re looking for somewhere to go for the 4th of July around Lakeland, Plant City, or Fishhawk, here are a few ideas:

1. Plant City July 4th Celebration. This one is completely free admission. There is a $5 fee for parking though. This event is also the closest to Fishhawk and Valrico. It’s also the most family friendly, in my opinion.

2. Lakeland’s Red, White + Kaboom. This one is actually going to take place on Monday, July 3rd. It is always a HUGE event.
   Lake Mirror / Downtown Lakeland
3. 4th of July Celebration at Busch Gardens. I feel like this would be perfect for older kids and high school seniors.
